Payroll Analyst
Job Description
W&A is supporting two payroll opportunities within an established shared services environment. One position is permanent, with the second offered on a two-year fixed-term contract.
\nBased in Glasgow or Edinburgh with hybrid working, these roles offer the opportunity to work across global payroll activity within a large, complex organisation, supporting effective payroll delivery while contributing to broader operational and business initiatives.

\nWorking within a global shared services environment, you will support a broad range of payroll activity across an international organisation.
\nThese opportunities would suit payroll professionals who are comfortable working in a complex environment and enjoy combining technical payroll knowledge with analysis, stakeholder engagement and broader business activity.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Support global payroll activity across a shared services environment. \n
- Work with payroll information and data to support accurate and timely delivery. \n
- Support end-to-end payroll processes and associated activities across multiple locations. \n
- Assist with payroll controls, reconciliations, documentation and reporting. \n
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external contacts to resolve payroll queries and issues. \n
- Support the coordination of payroll-related activity across different teams and locations. \n
- Review payroll information and processes to identify issues, risks or opportunities for improvement. \n
- Contribute to changes in payroll processes, systems and ways of working where required. \n
- Maintain clear and accurate payroll documentation. \n
- Support wider payroll and shared services initiatives as required. \n
About You
\n- \n
- Experience within payroll, ideally gained within a global, international or multi-entity environment. \n
- Good understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll operations. \n
- Experience within a shared service centre, global business services or other large organisation would be beneficial. \n
- Comfortable working with payroll data, reporting, controls and reconciliations. \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- An organised and structured approach with good attention to detail. \n
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams and locations. \n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. \n
- Comfortable working in an environment where priorities, processes and requirements may evolve. \n
