Job Title: Junior Electronic Design Engineer\n
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working - 3 Days On-Site Per Week)\n
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on Experience)\n

Role Overview:\n
\nZenovo are looking for an Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Bristol, focusing on designing electronics from their next-generation product.\n
\nAn ideal candidate will have at least 1-Year of Experience outside of University however we are happy to consider candidates who have done a Sandwich Degree and completed a year in Industry during their studies.\n
Job Responsibilities: \n
\n
    \n
  • Work on electronics hardware development projects, with hands-on involvement in specification, design, implementation, and testing.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal hardware development processes in collaboration with the Head of Software and Electronics.
  • \n
  • Support EMC design, testing, and compliance efforts.
  • \n
  • Perform product testing, including functionality, reliability, and safety assessments.
  • \n
  • Undertake PCB rework and support prototyping activities.
  • \n
  • Take ownership of assigned work packages, providing regular progress updates and ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • \n
  • Develop and support the creation of test procedures for both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
  • \n
  • Produce clear, professional-standard test reports
  • \n

Required Skills & Experience: \n
\n
    \n
  • Understanding of core electronics engineering principles, including analogue design, SMPS, EMC/EMI, and PCB development.
  • \n
  • Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to diagnose issues and deliver effective engineering solutions.
  • \n
  • Skilled in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium, or willing to develop expertise in this area.
  • \n
  • Proficient in the use of test and measurement equipment such as, oscilloscopes & digital multimeters (DMMs)
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • \n
