Overview\n
\n I'm currently supporting BAE Systems with the appointment of a Strategic Supply Chain Officer to join the Future Combat Air Systems programme.\n
\n Clearance requirement: Eligible for SC clearance\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Lead sourcing and procurement activity across a defined supplier portfolio
\n
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms
\n
• Develop and influence supply chain strategies
\n
• Manage supplier risk and drive supply chain resilience
\n
• Support programme reviews and governance activities
\n
• Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Commercial, Finance and Legal teams
\n

Key Skills\n
\n

\n
• Procurement or supply chain experience within a complex environment
\n
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
\n
• Experience managing supplier risk and opportunities
\n
• Strong data analysis and reporting capability
\n
• Continuous improvement mindset
\n
• Previous strategic supplier management experience would be advantageous
\n
• MCIPS, working towards MCIPS, or a relevant business degree would be beneficial
\n
