HGV Class 1 Shunter

HGV Yard Shunter Driver - Derby - Pride Park.\n

Were currently recruiting for experienced HGV 1to work with a well-established logistics company based in Derby.This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work.

As a Shunter Driver, youll be responsible for:

\n

\n
• \n

  Completing trailer swaps around the yard

\n
• \n

  Operating curtain-side or Box trailers, depending on the load

\n
• \n

  Ensuring all internal paperwork is completed

\n
• \n

  Maintaining professional standards at all times

\n
• \n

  High standard of safe systems of work

\n
• \n

  You may also on occasion be asked to go a run and cover any drivers due to sickness/absence if required.

\n
\nHours & Pay for Class 1 driver:\n
\n

\n
• \n

  12:00 lunch time till 21:00pm

\n
• \n

  Days:Sunday - Thursday Basis.

\n
• \n

  Pay Rates: £17.00-£19.00

\n
• \n

  Weekly pay every Friday
  

\n

Requirements:\n
\n

\n
• \n

  Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

\n
• \n

  Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

\n
• \n

  Experience with curtain-side trailers preferred

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and customer service skills

\n

\n
\n
