ABOUT THE CLIENT

We're recruiting for an established organisation delivering essential environmental and industrial services.

\n

This is a varied, practical opportunity where no two days are quite the same. You'll work as part of a close-knit team operating vehicles and specialist equipment across environmental clean-ups, industrial services and groundworks.

THE MULTISKILLED TECHNICIAN WITH HGV ROLE

\n
    \n
  • Operate jetting and clean-up equipment
  • \n
  • Operate company vehicles, including HGVs where appropriately qualified
  • \n
  • Respond to spills, fly-tipping and environmental hazards
  • \n
  • Support civil engineering and industrial service projects
  • \n
  • Complete vehicle checks and maintenance reporting
  • \n
  • Liaise with customers
  • \n
  • Complete relevant job documentation
  • \n
  • Participate in an emergency call-out rota
  • \n
  • Travel and work away where required
  • \n
\n

MULTISKILLED TECHNICIAN WITH HGV ESSENTIAL SKILLS

\n
    \n
  • Full UK driving licence
  • \n
  • Practical, hands-on approach
  • \n
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours
  • \n
  • Strong team-working skills
  • \n
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when required, including at short notice
  • \n
  • Experience within a similar environment or willingness to learn
  • \n
  • HGV or plant experience would be beneficial
  • \n
  • RAMS and health and safety knowledge preferred
  • \n
\n

For service leavers, experience gained in military transport, engineering, logistics, plant or operational environments could transfer particularly well into this position.
