You'll be trusted to manage your own jobs, diagnose issues properly rather than simply changing parts and keep customers informed throughout the process. There is also plenty of scope to increase your earnings through overtime and the 1-in-4 standby rota. The Work Your day-to-day workload will involve keeping commercial refrigeration equipment running reliably and responding when systems don't. You'll be responsible for: Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Attending refrigeration breakdowns and carrying out fault diagnosis Repairing refrigeration systems and associated components Investigating recurring faults and identifying underlying issues Carrying out electrical fault-finding where required Highlighting equipment requiring remedial or replacement work Recording work completed through service reports and job sheets Working to customer, company and health & safety requirements Package Circa £57,000 including standby payments Paid travel 45-hour contracted week Overtime available 1-in-4 call-out rota Company vehicle Fuel card Specialist tools and PPE 33 days' annual leave including bank holidays Private healthcare Life assurance Matched pension scheme Additional employee benefits and discounts Technical Requirements You should have a recognised refrigeration qualification and be comfortable working independently on commercial equipment.
