SEND OUTREACH WORKER Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Outreach Worker committed to supporting children and young people with additional needs? Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Outreach Worker to work with a fantastic provision located in the Bournemouth area. Experienced Outreach Workers, Learning Mentors, and candidates with a background in SEND support are encouraged to apply. THE ROLE Location: Bournemouth Position: SEND Outreach Worker Start date: ASAP Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing Contract type: Long term Full time/part time: Full time Minimum rate of pay: £140 per day Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS, NVQ, Cache or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Experience working with SEND students A genuine interest in supporting children with complex learning needs Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional, child-related referencesAPPLICATION PROCESS If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
