Practice Nurse – August and September Clinical System: SystmOne Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to provide locum cover throughout August and September. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking for flexible sessional work within a supportive primary care environment. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to undertake all core Practice Nurse duties, including: * Chronic Disease Management * Cervical Cytology (Smears) * Childhood and Adult Immunisations * Vaccinations * Wound Care and Dressings * Health Promotion and Screening * Long-Term Condition Reviews * General Treatment Room Duties What’s on Offer * Flexible sessions available throughout August and September * Ongoing locum opportunities * Supportive clinical team * Primary care setting with an established patient population Requirements * Current NMC registration * Previous UK General Practice experience * SystmOne experience preferred * Competent in all core Practice Nurse duties * Excellent communication and patient care skills This opportunity is ideal for a Practice Nurse seeking flexible locum work with the potential for regular ongoing sessions
