The role also involves fault finding and repairs, completing accurate service reports, providing professional client support, and ensuring all work meets current health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInstalling, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems in accordance with industry regulationsCompleting routine servicing and planned maintenance on fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and emergency lightingDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ensure systems remain fully compliant and operationalProducing clear and accurate service reports and documentationProviding professional support and communication to clients on-siteEnsuring all work is completed in line with current health and safety standardsEssential RequirementsProven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Technician, Electrical Engineer, or similarStrong knowledge of fire alarm installation, servicing and fault-findingUnderstanding of British Standards and fire safety regulations (BS 5839 preferred)Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as requiredDesirableThe ideal candidate will be experienced Protec Systems, however, this is not essentialECS CardFIA QualifiedWhat we're looking forProblem-Solving SkillsLogical Thinking and ReasoningExcellent Communication SkillsAttention to DetailTechnical KnowledgeTPBN1_UKTJ
