Youll assist in the effective management of the site finance department with all operational support activities including preparation and submission of weekly forecasts, P&L reconciliations, budgeting and period end reporting in compliance with corporate policies and deadlines.This is a full-time, permanent position, predominately working Monday Friday, 08:30-17:00, with a hybrid arrangement of 4 days based on-site and 1 day working from home .Pay, benefits and more:Youll be paid a salary of up to £ 40,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!GXO are also proud to be an ACMA and ACCA approved employer.What youll do on a typical day:Preparation of weekly and monthly operational performance reporting for both GXO and the customerWorking with the on-site and central HR team to resolve queries, effective communication of issues and management of over or under paymentsAssist the Finance Manager in improving and developing reporting processes and proceduresProvide variance analysis with adequate commentary and aid operational management in the interpretation of resultsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:CIMA, ACCA or currently studying towards completionKnowledge of financial management systems and having experience of OracleExperience with open book contracts is preferredProven track record in successfully establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external customersWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains. #LI-LB2TPBN1_UKTJ
