Multi-Skilled CNC Miller – Permanent Salary: depending on experienceJob Type: PermanentHours: 38 hours per week, rotating shiftsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled CNC Miller to join an established engineering business.The successful candidate will have strong 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling experience , with the ability to set and operate machines using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls .Key Responsibilities Set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machinesRead and interpret engineering drawingsRead and understand CNC programmesAdjust offsets and coordinatesCarry out quality checks and ensure components meet specificationsDeburr and fettle componentsTroubleshoot machine issues where requiredMaintain a clean and safe working environmentFollow 5S, health & safety and company proceduresWork as part of a team to meet production targetsRequirements Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar CNC milling roleStrong experience with multi-axis CNC millingKnowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain controlsGood understanding of engineering drawings and CNC programmesStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant engineering qualification, apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ/NCQ or equivalentRight to work in the UKShift Pattern 2 weeks early: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm, Friday 6:00am–1:00pm2 weeks late: Monday–Thursday 2:30pm–12:30am30-minute unpaid break on each shift.What's on Offer? £14–£18 per hour , depending on experiencePermanent positionShift allowance where applicableOvertime opportunitiesTraining and developmentPension schemeIf you're an experienced CNC Miller looking for a permanent opportunity, apply today with your CV.INDNCTPBN1_UKTJ
