Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional software PLC engineer.Key SkillsHNC/HND or Equivalent Electrical EngineerPLC Programmer, ideally with Automated Process MachineryUnderstanding of FMCG IndustryThe RoleDevelop,test,andcommissionPLCandHMIsoftwarefor processing andpackaging equipment. Establish and manage a remote support system for engineers and customers. Provide remote and on-site support diagnosing faults, guiding repairs, and implementing softwareupdates. Travel across the UK & Ireland (approx. 4050%) for commissioning, integration, and technical support. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams on complete automation solutions. Maintainsoftwaredocumentation,systemstandards,andremoteaccessprocedures.Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement. Ideally you will be an e xperienced PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer with strong electrical knowledge. Skilled in Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fuji, Lenze.Background in capital equipment, packaging, or process automation would be advantageous.
