At Money Matters, we believe everyone deserves financial security, a warm home and access to high-quality advice when they need it most.We're looking for an experienced and motivated Energy & Financial Wellbeing Adviser to join our team and provide holistic support across energy advice, welfare rights and money advice.Every day you'll help people access vital income, reduce household costs, improve financial wellbeing and build more secure futures.About the RoleYou will provide practical advice and support to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, helping them to:Reduce household energy costsAccess grants, discounts and energy assistance schemesMaximise income through welfare benefits and financial supportImprove budgeting and financial capabilityAddress debt and financial difficultiesAccess the support they are entitled toYou will manage your own caseload, maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for clients.We are looking for someone with:Experience providing welfare rights, money advice, debt advice or related advice servicesGood knowledge of Universal Credit and other social security benefitsExperience supporting clients with income maximisation and benefit applicationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and case management skillsA person-centred and compassionate approachGood IT and digital skillsExperience providing energy advice would be advantageous but is not essential.A PVG Disclosure is essential for this position.This position will cover Glasgow and Surrounding areas and is not a Hybrid positionPlease ensure your CV clearly demonstrates your relevant experience, skills and knowledge relating to the role.Applicants may be required to complete an assessment questionnaire as part of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
