\n£40,000 - £47,000 DOE + Overtime + Bonuses + 25 Days Holiday + Company Vehicle
\nWe're looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join a growing and well-established team, covering Basingstoke, Reading, Oxford, Slough, Woking and the wider West Berkshire area.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in security system installation, servicing, maintenance and small works. You'll work across a varied portfolio of commercial sites and high-profile clients, with a company that invests in its engineers and provides the equipment, training and support needed to progress.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and small works of electronic security systems across a range of commercial and private client sites.
\nYour responsibilities will include:

- Installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems. \n
- Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs. \n
- Completing small works, upgrades, modifications and system expansions. \n
- Working with systems including Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton. \n
- Supporting a range of high-profile commercial clients, including business parks, commercial premises and private estates. \n
- Completing service documentation and ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard. \n
- Managing your own workload and working independently on site, while being supported by an experienced engineering team. \n
- Participating in a 1-in-5 call-out rota, with a standby allowance. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer. \n
- Strong technical experience across CCTV, intruder alarms and/or access control. \n
- Solid installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding skills. \n
- Experience with Axis, Hanwha, Galaxy, Texecom and Paxton would be advantageous. \n
- A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills. \n
- Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and meet deadlines. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
- A genuine interest in developing your technical skills and progressing within the security industry. \n
