Assembly Finisher

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client for an Assembly / Finisher to join their team in Eastbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in assembly, finishing, or fitting who takes pride in producing high quality work.\n
\nYou will play a key role in ensuring components meet strict quality standards, working within a clean, organised, and safety focused environment.\n

Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Finish components to a high standard, ensuring surfaces are free from defects
\n
• Carry out testing and inspection operations on chambers
\n
• Set up and operate leak testing equipment (mass spectrometry)
\n
• Assemble and fit components in line with technical requirements
\n
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
\n
• Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
\n

\n
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements\n
\n

\n
• Previous experience in finishing, fitting, or assembly
\n
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
\n
• Confident using handheld power tools
\n
• Good understanding of quality standards and attention to detail
\n
• Experience within UHV / HV environments
\n
• Ability to work on complex small and large assemblies
\n
• Good level of physical fitness and manual dexterity
\n
