Tax Senior

An established professional services firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join its growing Trusts & Estates team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified tax professional looking to develop their career within a specialist area of private client taxation. Working alongside experienced managers and partners, you will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of trusts, estates and private clients while building your technical expertise and client management skills. Responsibilities\n

• Assist with the management of a portfolio of trust and estate clients.
\n
• Prepare trust and estate tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
\n
• Support the delivery of tax advisory projects for private clients, trustees and executors.
\n
• Liaise with clients and professional advisers to obtain information and resolve queries.
\n
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.
\n
• Monitor work progress and ensure deadlines are met.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies within the team.
\n
• Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
\n
• Assist with business development initiatives and networking events where appropriate.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of trust and estate taxation.
\n

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:\n

• Previous experience within a tax, trust or private client environment.
\n
• An understanding of trust and estate taxation.
\n
• ATT qualified, ATT studying, or qualified by experience.
\n
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
\n
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
\n
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
\n
