Job Description

- - Receive, check, book in and store engineering components and materials. \n
- - Pick, kit and issue parts against Works Orders to support production schedules \n
- - Maintain accurate stock records, material traceability and shelf-life controls \n
- \n
- Receive components and materials from customers and suppliers. \n
- Check goods-in documentation, inspect deliveries and complete stock acceptance processes. \n
- Pick, kit and issue components against Works Orders to support production and repair turnaround schedules. \n
- Maintain full traceability of materials throughout Operations. \n
- Complete material receipts, put-aways, booking-in and dispatch transactions accurately. \n
- Process daily picks, Works Orders and subcontract movements. \n
- Monitor shelf-life-controlled materials and take appropriate action before expiry. \n
- Identify kit shortages, stock discrepancies and opportunities to reduce excess inventory. \n
- Ensure internal and external paperwork complies with the Business Management System and applicable quality standards. \n
- Provide flexible support across Stores, Goods-In and Dispatch when operational priorities require it. \n
- \n
- Previous experience in Stores, Goods-In, Dispatch, warehouse operations or material control within manufacturing or engineering. \n
- Good understanding of stock movements, material handling and documentation control. \n
- Ability to maintain accurate traceability in a regulated or quality-controlled environment. \n
- Strong time management, organisation and workload-prioritisation skills. \n
- Careful attention to detail when checking deliveries, paperwork and stock records. \n
- Confident working hands-on and supporting different operational areas when required. \n
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Logistics colleagues. \n
- Experience using an MRP or ERP system is desirable. \n
- Experience within aerospace, aviation, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous. \n
