NPPV3 is highly desirable.OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to support a large-scale public sector transformation programme within a complex, data-intensive environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an architect with extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale data architecture across multiple concurrent workstreams. You will provide strategic leadership, architectural governance and assurance, ensuring data solutions align with organisational standards and long-term business objectives.The successful candidate will have a strong consulting background or experience working within large-scale systems integration and public sector programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise data architecture across multiple programmes and workstreams.Define and maintain data architecture principles, standards and target-state architectures.Translate complex business and data requirements into scalable architectural solutions.Provide strategic oversight of data architecture, ensuring consistency across initiatives.Drive best practice in areas including:Data architectureEntity resolutionMaster Data Management (MDM)Data governanceData qualityMetadata managementProduce high-quality architecture artefacts, standards and design documentation.Provide architectural assurance and governance for solution designs.Work closely with senior business and technical stakeholders to influence strategic direction.Support cross-functional teams throughout delivery, ensuring architectural alignment.Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting best practice and continuous improvement.Required Experience5+ years' experience leading enterprise or data architecture engagements.3+ years' experience designing complex enterprise data architectures.Strong background in enterprise data modelling and architecture frameworks.Experience defining data architecture principles, standards and governance models.Demonstrable experience with:Master Data Management (MDM)Data GovernanceEntity ResolutionData IntegrationData QualityExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively at senior leadership level.Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.Consulting or systems integration experience is highly desirable.Previous public sector experience is advantageous.Essential SkillsEnterprise Data ArchitectureData StrategyData GovernanceMaster Data Management (MDM)Entity ResolutionData ModellingData IntegrationArchitecture AssuranceStakeholder ManagementEnterprise Architecture FrameworksStrategic PlanningSecurity RequirementsLive SC Clearance (Essential)NPPV3 Clearance (Highly Desirable)Contract DetailsRate: £650 per day (Inside IR35)Contract: Initial 6 months with a strong likelihood of extensionLocation: Primarily remote with occasional travel to LondonReasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
