Job Description

Electrical Contract ManagerMeridian are working with a growing Electrical contractor based in Burnley that specialise in commercialfit-out projects, winning lots of retail projects with major names and upcoming work already secured. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to supplement the project delivery side. You will be joining a small project team, where your focus will initially be on helping to manage project delivery and commercial elements of various projects across the UK. If you are looking to join a growing commercial Electrical contractor in Burnley, then this opportunity is perfect for you!Benefits include (but are not exclusive to):Starting salary of £65k - £70k p.a (DoE)Company vehicle and fuel cardImmediate start available (subject to successful application)Working onvarious retail and commercial fit out projects nationwideJoining a well-established and growing teamCompany pension schemeOffice-based role, with some site visits expected within working week25-day Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays40-hour week with flexible working pattern (within site hours)Accommodation paid for and meal allowance if staying overnightRequirements for this role:Electrical background required, ideally within fit-out and retail projectsCommercial project experience with a full understanding of project lifecycles from cradle to graveUp to date knowledge of industry standards, compliance, contract forms, and Health & Safety is essentialSMSTS not essential, but is preferredExperience managing Electrical trades, e.g Apprentices, Electricians, Electrical Testers, and SupervisorsStrong commercial awareness and financial control skills (costing, forecasting, reporting)Experience managing labour, subcontractors, and supply chain performanceStrong client-facing skills with the ability to manage expectations and resolve issuesExperience in design and pre-con is not essential but would be a bonusDuties include (but are not exclusive to):Full project delivery of commercial electrical contractsDeliver works in line with contractual requirements, KPIs, and response timesPlan and manage resources, materials, budgets, and onsite workers effectivelyProblem-solve when there are potential issues onsite by communicating clearly with onsite management and office staffWork with the other members of the commercial and project team to identify, price, and deliver maximise contract valueConsistently ensure compliance with H&S, compliance reports, and RAMS at all stages of project lifecyclesWork closely with the commercial team to remain accurate on job costing, forecasting, and progress reportsIf you are looking to join a growingmanagement team as an Electrical Contract Managerthen please apply directly to the advert or email for more informationMeridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
