Shift Length: Typically 89 hours | Job & FinishWe are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established drinks distribution operation based in Wetherby .The role involves delivering alcohol and other drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries across the surrounding area.?? The RoleDelivering alcohol and drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateriesWorking as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate teamDeliveries are completed using a handball method, so the role involves regular manual handlingTypically 89 hour shiftsJob & Finish once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finishedWorking closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficientlyProviding a professional and friendly service to customersCarrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe?? Training & InductionAll successful drivers will complete:Classroom-based inductionDriving assessmentFull familiarisation with the delivery process and requirementsSupport from experienced team members before going out on deliveries independently? RequirementsValid Class 2 (Category C) licenceValid CPC and Digital TachographPrevious HGV Class 2 driving experience preferredComfortable with handball and manual handlingGood customer service skillsReliable, punctual and professionalAble to work effectively as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate teamGood knowledge of UK roads?
