Court of Protection Solicitor Location: Altrincham, Cheshire An established and highly regarded law firm based in Altrincham is looking to recruit a Court of Protection Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join its growing specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in Court of Protection work who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, client-focused firm.The Role Court of Protection Solicitor to handle a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters, advising and supporting clients and their families on a range of issues relating to property, financial affairs and welfare. Your responsibilities will include:

• Court of Protection Solicitor to own caseload of Court of Protection matters
\n
• Advising deputies, attorneys, families and other professionals
\n
• Preparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection
\n
• Dealing with deputyship and property and financial affairs matters
\n
• Preparing annual deputy reports and financial accounts
\n
• Assisting with complex and sensitive client matters
\n
• Liaising with the Court of Protection, OPG and other relevant organisations
\n
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts
\n

About You The successful candidate will ideally have:

\n
• 2+ years' PQE with relevant Court of Protection experience
\n
• A good understanding of Court of Protection procedures and deputyship work
\n
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
\n
• Court of Protection Solicitor with strong attention to detail
\n
• The ability to manage a caseload independently while working as part of a wider team
\n
• Excellent communication and client-care skills
\n
• A genuine interest in working with clients and families who may require additional support
\n
