Senior H&S Advisor

Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior H&S Advisor to join their SHEQ team. This is a permanent role based within the UU region, providing a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact on health and safety practices within the company. Key Responsibilities: Advising the SHEQ team at a Senior level Understanding and managing SHEQ risk Supporting SHEQ across the company with a dynamic approach Developing and implementing policies, procedures, management systems, and risk controls Organising and supporting SHEQ assurance audits Conducting and supporting accident/incident investigations Collaborating with project teams to understand day-to-day challenges Working with clients to deliver collaborative SHEQ approaches Managing the project lifecycle from a SHEQ perspective Highlighting opportunities for sustainable solutions Analysing key performance data and maintaining management systemsAbout You: Extensive experience in the Construction sector Knowledge of statutory health and safety law in the UK Experience with OHSAS 45001 (or similar) management systems NEBOSH diploma or equivalent Experience in the water sector would be preferred Valid full driving licence and ability to travel as required Ability to collect, analyse, and evaluate large volumes of data CSCS card holder Certified or Chartered membership of IOSHBenefits: Hybrid working (job needs dependent) Car/car allowance (job needs dependent) 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy) Contributory pension scheme Life assurance and health insurance Private medical insuranceIf you are an experienced Senior H&S Advisor looking to further your career within a supportive and innovative environment, we would love to hear from you.
