Job Description
Anderson Knight is currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist on behalf of our key client, a globally recognised organisation. The successful candidate will support the Payroll Manager with the day-to-day management of the payroll function, while also playing a key role in improving processes and supporting the ongoing development of the team. The business is currently going through a period of growth and change, making this a good opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking to take the next step in their career. Previous leadership experience is not essential, but candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' payroll experience. Key Responsibilities * Process end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly and monthly basis. * Manage day-to-day payroll activities and ensure deadlines are consistently met. * Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies. * Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies, procedures and current legislation. * Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. * Work closely with Finance and other departments on payroll-related matters. * Carry out regular checks and analysis to ensure payroll data is accurate. * Review absence, leave and right-to-work information. * Communicate effectively with colleagues, senior management and key stakeholders. * Support the Payroll Manager with the development of the payroll function and team. The ideal candidate will have: * 5+ years' payroll experience. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * The ability to build effective relationships across the business. * Leadership skills, or the ambition to develop these further.
