Job Title: Light Vehicle Technician

\nHours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
\nSalary: £32,000-£42,000 depending on experience, plus company Bonus Scheme

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will take ownership of your workload and be confident working independently on a wide range of customer vehicles and trailers. Previous diagnostic and fault-finding experience would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs, light vehicles and trailers \n
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults \n
- MOT preparation work \n
- Attending roadside breakdowns and disabled vehicles when required \n
- Liaising with the parts department to source required components \n
- Completing job cards and service documentation accurately and on time \n
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safe working practices \n
- Following all customer site procedures and health & safety regulations \n
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge and attending training courses \n
- \n
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualified Technician or equivalent industry experience \n
- Recent experience within the motor trade in a similar role (within the last 2 years) \n
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills \n
- Full UK Driving Licence \n
- HGV Licence beneficial but not essential \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills \n
- Flexible and proactive approach to work \n
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures \n
- Own tools are essential \n
