Project Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Main Contractor (Data Centres) – ScandinaviaSalary/Package: Market Leading Salary + Accommodation + Monthly Return Flights + Living Allowance + Sponsorship + Travel/Car Allowance + Private Medical + Pension + Discretionary BonusO'Neill and Brennan are currently working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor, turning over circa £1bn annually, who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their growing data centre business in Scandinavia.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor from a main contracting or reputable residential developer background to make the transition into the data centre sector, working on some of the largest and most technically complex construction projects in the market.The business has established strong relationships with several blue-chip clients and is now benefiting from significant repeat business, with a growing pipeline of major data centre schemes across Sweden and Finland .Importantly, previous data centre experience is not required . The company has found that experienced Quantity Surveyors from traditional main contracting and high-quality residential development backgrounds adapt particularly well to their commercial model, provided they have strong core commercial and project delivery experience.The role would require you to relocate to Scandinavia on a full-time basis, with the company providing accommodation, monthly return flights to the UK, visa/sponsorship support and a living allowance , in addition to the standard salary and benefits package.There are also opportunities to progress within the wider business, including the potential to move into the company's UK division further down the line.Role Overview Title: Project Quantity SurveyorSector: Data CentresLocation: Sweden or FinlandSalary: Market Leading Salary + Comprehensive PackageRelocation: Accommodation + Monthly Return Flights + Living Allowance + SponsorshipStart: ASAP, subject to interview process, but can wait for the right personType: PermanentResponsibilities: Taking responsibility for the commercial management of major and technically complex data centre projectsProcuring and commercially managing high-value subcontract packages from procurement through to final accountPreparing subcontract enquiries, tender analysis, negotiations and recommendations for awardManaging subcontractor payments, valuations, variations and final accountsAssisting with cost reporting, CVRs, forecasting and monthly commercial reportingWorking closely with project management, design, procurement and engineering teams to ensure successful project deliveryIdentifying commercial risks and opportunities whilst maintaining strong cost control throughout the project lifecycleBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chainWorking collaboratively within an experienced commercial team to deliver projects to the highest standardsRequirements Proven experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting or reputable residential development environmentStrong commercial experience across the full project lifecycle, including procurement, subcontract management, valuations, variations and final accountsExperience working on major or complex construction projectsStrong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and communication skillsData centre experience is not required – the business is open to candidates from traditional main contracting or high-quality residential development backgroundsWillingness to relocate to Sweden or Finland on a full-time basisAble to work internationally and adapt to a new project and working environmentIf you're an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor looking for the opportunity to work internationally and make the transition into the rapidly growing data centre sector, please contact Ned Scott-Mends on 07552 619 663 , or send your CV via email at .ONeill and Brennan values diversity and promotes equality, All individuals will be treated in a fair and equal manner and in accordance with the law regardless of gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientationTPBN1_UKTJ
