This is a broad, hands-on role supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and HR administration to employee relations and compliance.There is a requirement to be onsite in Wallingford for a minimum of 3 days per week to provide visible, day-to-day support.Key Responsibilities Manage HR administration and maintain accurate employee records in HiBob.Prepare People documentation, support compliance, right-to-work and visa checks.Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, inductions and exit interviews.Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, escalating where appropriate.Support performance reviews, probation processes, employee engagement, training and wellbeing initiatives.What We're Looking For Experience in a People Coordinator or HR Administrator role, ideally in a fast-paced startup or scale-up.Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.Experience using an HRIS (HiBob or similar) and Google Workspace.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Knowledge of UK employment law is desirable.Nice to Have Experience in an engineering, robotics or hardware business.CIPD qualification (or working towards one).We value attitude and potential as much as experience, so if you're excited by the role but don't meet every requirement, we'd still encourage you to apply.BenefitsStarting from the interview process and continuing into your career with us, you will be working by our four Operating Principles:Performance: High standards, outstanding results,Impact: Big challenges, bigger resultsCommitment: All in, every timeOne team: One mission, shared successJoining our team and company isn't just about expertise; it's about embracing uncertainty with ambition.
