This is an opportunity to take ownership of engineering performance while helping to create safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. You’ll join a supportive organisation where engineering plays a central role in operational success. Combining hands-on technical understanding with people leadership, you’ll have the scope to develop your team, strengthen maintenance practices and drive meaningful improvements across the site. You will be leading a multi-disciplined team of 4 Engineers. The Opportunity: As an Engineering Manager you’ll play a key role in:\n

- Leading, supporting and developing the maintenance team, encouraging high standards and a positive approach to continuous improvement. \n
- Driving proactive and reactive maintenance practices, including accurate PPM schedules, to support safe, reliable plant performance. \n
- Maintaining compliance with HSE, EA, LOLER, Written Schemes of Examination and other relevant regulatory requirements. \n
- Managing contractors effectively, including inductions, authorisations, risk assessments and Permits to Work. \n
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, senior management, suppliers and other stakeholders to minimise downtime and support production. \n
- \n
- Proven management or supervisory experience within an engineering, maintenance or manufacturing environment. \n
- Strong technical knowledge combined with a proactive, safety-focused approach to engineering and maintenance. \n
- Effective organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance planned activity with changing operational demands. \n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, alongside an inclusive leadership style that supports team development. \n
- Ideally a minimum of HNC within Engineering, but time served candidates with good management or supervisory skills will be considered \n
- This role would suit either an established Engineering Manager or an Engineering Team Leader/Supervisor who is ready for a step up. \n

- Salary of £48,000 - £52,000. \n
- Full-time, permanent employment. \n
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. \n
