\nOur client is looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their busy accounts team. This is perfect opportunity for someone looking to progress their career and have full ownership of their own workload and daily tasks.\n
\nDuties of Legal Cashier:\n
\n

\n
• Competent in dealing with high value CHAPS transactions
\n
• Carrying out daily bank reconciliations and month-end / year-end three-way reconciliations.
\n
• Ability to raise bills and statements.
\n
• Office supply management and inventory control.
\n
• Making of supplier payments and liaising with suppliers.
\n
• Proficiency in reconciling client and office payments, maintain ledgers.
\n
• Awareness in dealing with residual client balances and closing files.
\n
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
\n
• Providing support to accountants in undertaking their annual AR1.
\n
• Ability to minimise errors and support the efficient operation of the financial aspects of the business.
\n
• Some understanding of AML processes
\n

\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\n
\n

\n
• 3+ years experience in a similar role
\n
• Recent working knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
\n
• Ability to work within a team
\n
