Class 2 Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver to join our team on a temporary basis, providing cover for a period of long-term sickness.The Role You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 Driver , ensuring deliveries are made safely, efficiently and on time. You may also be required to drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle when needed.Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 12-tonne rigid curtainside vehicleComplete deliveries and collections as requiredCarry out vehicle checks and report any issuesEnsure goods are transported securelyComplete relevant delivery paperworkProvide excellent customer serviceFollow all relevant road safety and company proceduresRequirements Valid licence and entitlement to drive a 12-tonne rigid vehiclePrevious HGV driving experience preferredExperience driving curtainside vehicles would be advantageousGood knowledge of road safety and vehicle checksReliable, punctual and professionalFlexible approach to driving both HGV and 3.5-tonne vehiclesWorking Hours Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00Temporary contract: 3 August to 28 August 2026 inclusiveIf you are an experienced and reliable HGV driver available for temporary work, we would be keen to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
