Working within a friendly engineering team, you'll be responsible for inspecting, testing and certifying bespoke low-voltage telecoms cabinets before they're dispatched to customers. You'll also support the wiring and assembly of electrical components from schematics and wiring schedules, helping deliver high-quality products used across a range of industries. You'll occasionally travel to customer sites to assist with new product installations, giving you the opportunity to get involved with projects from build through to installation. Key responsibilities Carry out inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems Produce accurate electrical test certificates and compliance documentation Diagnose and rectify electrical faults Wire electrical components using schematics and wiring diagrams Support electrical assembly when required Ensure all work complies with BS7671 Wiring Regulations Assist with occasional customer site installations Work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver high-quality productsAbout you If you have your 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing qualification, we'd love to hear from you.
