οΈπ π¨ Weβre Hiring: Facilities Manager π¨ π&99;οΈ π Glasgow π· Β£45,000 β Β£47,000 π Monday β Friday | 08:00 β 17:00 Weβre looking for an experienced Facilities Manager / Technical Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day facilities and engineering operations at a busy industrial site in Glasgow. π This is an excellent opportunity for a technically qualified professional with an Electrical or HVAC background who is looking to take ownership of site facilities, compliance, contractors and engineering operations. π§ What Youβll Be Doing: &99;οΈ Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day facilities and technical operations across the site. π Overseeing electrical, HVAC, mechanical and building services across office and industrial areas. π οΈ Coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities. π· Working alongside the on-site engineer and coordinating additional engineers and specialist contractors when required. π Ensuring all statutory compliance, inspections, testing and maintenance records are kept up to date. π¦Ί Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and ensuring safe systems of work are followed. π€ Managing relationships with contractors, subcontractors and service providers. π Monitoring service delivery, KPIs and maintenance performance, taking action where required. π’ Ensuring the building fabric and facilities are maintained to a high standard. π¨ Supporting emergency procedures, evacuation arrangements and site contingency planning. π· Assisting with budgets, quotations, procurement and service agreements. π Producing management reports and maintaining accurate site documentation, asset registers and compliance records. π Proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improving site reliability, efficiency and service delivery. π Supporting minor works and larger maintenance projects as required. π¨βπ§ What Weβre Looking For: π A recognised Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification, or equivalent apprentice-trained background. &A1; Strong technical engineering background with hands-on experience in Electrical or HVAC systems. π Previous experience within Facilities Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial or Building Services environments. π Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills. π· Experience coordinating engineers, contractors and third-party service providers. π Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance. π» IT literate with experience using maintenance, CAFM or other facilities management systems. π Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. π¬ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels. π§ Ability to work independently, take ownership and make informed decisions in a busy operational environment. β Desirable: '14;οΈ IOSH or NEBOSH qualification '14;οΈ BIFM / IWFM qualification '14;οΈ Experience managing service agreements and subcontractors '14;οΈ Knowledge of BMS and building management systems '14;οΈ Previous experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment '14;οΈ Experience managing budgets, procurement and maintenance projects πΌ Whatβs On Offer: π· Β£45,000 β Β£47,000 Salary π Monday to Friday | 08:00 β 17:00 &99;οΈ Technical leadership role with responsibility for site facilities and engineering operations π Opportunity to work within a technically advanced industrial environment π Excellent career development and progression opportunities π Ongoing training and professional development π§ Opportunity to work alongside engineers and specialist contractors π Stable, long-term position with a leading Facilities Management provider &99;οΈ If you're a Facilities Manager, Technical Supervisor or experienced Engineer with a strong Electrical or HVAC background and you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you
