Job Description

X2 Planners Based in Croydon Temp to perm office based Key Responsibilities Repairs Planning & Coordination Plan and schedule damp and mould inspections, remedial works and follow-on repairs. Allocate work to appropriate operatives and specialist contractors based on skills, availability and location. Ensure appointments are arranged within required service timescales. Monitor outstanding jobs and proactively identify potential delays. Coordinate follow-on works where further repairs or treatment are identified. Ensure work orders contain accurate and relevant information for operatives. Update repairs management systems with appointment, job and completion information. Liaise with surveyors and operational teams to ensure appropriate works are planned. Damp & Mould Case Management Monitor damp and mould cases from initial instruction through to completion. Ensure jobs are appropriately categorised and prioritised. Track inspections, treatment, remedial works and any required follow-up visits. Escalate urgent or complex cases to the appropriate manager or surveyor. Ensure outstanding actions are followed up within agreed timescales. Support the team in maintaining accurate records and case histories. Resident & Customer Service Contact residents to arrange and confirm appointments. Provide clear and professional information regarding planned works and appointment arrangements. Respond to resident queries and ensure issues are passed to the appropriate team where necessary. Maintain a customer-focused approach, particularly when dealing with residents experiencing damp and mould issues. Record relevant communication and actions accurately on the repairs system. Identify vulnerable residents or concerns requiring escalation in line with company procedures. Contractor & Operative Liaison Communicate daily with operatives, surveyors and subcontractors regarding planned works. Check that operatives have the necessary job information before attending properties. Monitor operative attendance, job progress and completion. Follow up incomplete or aborted appointments. Assist with resolving scheduling and access issues. Escalate recurring contractor or performance issues to the relevant manager. Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date repairs records. Ensure all relevant documentation, photographs, reports and completion information are recorded appropriately. Produce basic reports and updates on outstanding damp and mould works. Support the team in meeting contractual, operational and regulatory timescales. Follow company policies relating to health and safety, safeguarding, data protection and customer service. Maintain confidentiality and handle resident information appropriately. Key Skills & Experience Essential Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office. Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Customer-focused approach with a professional and empathetic manner. Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations. Willingness to learn about damp, mould, housing repairs and property maintenance
