Job Description
CNC Programmer
\nWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will create, optimize, and validate CNC programs to support production of precision components, using industry-leading CAM/CAD tools.
\nKey responsibilities
\n- Produce and optimize CNC programs for milling operations to meet print specifications and production targets
\n- Use PowerMILL to generate and simulate toolpaths, ensuring efficient, collision-free programs
\n- Use Autodesk software (e.g., Inventor, Fusion 360 or AutoCAD) to work from CAD models and prepare files for CAM
\n- Translate engineering drawings and GD&T into accurate machining strategies
\n- Select tooling, cutting parameters, feeds and speeds; revise programs based on material and process feedback
\n- Simulate, test and troubleshoot programs on machines; support setup and first-off inspections
\n- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering to improve processes and reduce cycle times
\n- Maintain program documentation and revision control
\nEssential skills and experience
\n- Minimum 2 years' hands-on CNC programming experience
\n- Proven experience using PowerMILL for CAM programming and simulation
\n- Experience with Autodesk products for CAD/CAM workflows
\n- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling and cutting parameters
\n- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T
\n- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
\nDesirable
\n- Experience with multi-axis (3-5 axis) machining
\n- Familiarity with post-processing and G-code optimization
\n- Practical machine shop experience (setup/operators) is a plus
