Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Procurement Manager.

  • An initial six-month contract
  • \n
  • Hybrid working with 3 days a week onsite in Glasgow (Edinburgh offices are also available)
  • \n
  • £375 - £400 a day
  • \n
\n

Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you'll manage low-value sourcing exercises, provide expert procurement advice to stakeholders, support regulated procurement's, and help drive continuous improvement across procurement processes, systems, and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Advise stakeholders, including senior leaders, on sourcing strategies, procurement best practice, and supplier management.
  • \n
  • Support the delivery of regulated procurement exercises and wider commercial activities.
  • \n
  • Maintain and improve the contract register, procurement records, and audit documentation.
  • \n
  • Conduct spend analysis, administer procurement templates, and manage procurement-related enquiries.
  • \n
  • Negotiate supplier terms and contracts in line with organisational risk and compliance requirements.
  • \n

About You:

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end procurement within a public sector environment.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation, frameworks, and the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) portal.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable ability to achieve value for money and manage supplier and third-party risks effectively.
  • \n
  • Experience procuring a broad range of goods and services.
  • \n
  • MCIPS qualified, working towards qualification, or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
