Role Description The Procurement, Logistics & Inventory Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Blackpool. This position oversees the end-to-end flow of materials, including purchasing components, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Daily responsibilities include processing purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, organizing physical inventory counts, and reconciling discrepancies. The coordinator works closely with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries, cost-effective procurement, and compliance with company quality standards. The role also involves updating inventory systems, preparing reports, and continuously improving inventory control processes to support production and project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management and Inventory Control to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or overstock.
  • \n
  • Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Accuracy and conducting Physical Inventory to ensure data integrity and reliable stock reporting.
  • \n
  • Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving to manage inbound and outbound materials, documentation, and coordination with logistics partners.
  • \n
  • Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain coordination, including working with suppliers and negotiating basic terms, is beneficial.
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and proficiency with inventory or ERP software systems are preferred.
  • \n
  • Effective communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced technical environment, are important.
  • \n
  • A background in manufacturing, engineering, or data center operations, and formal training or education in supply chain, logistics, or business is an advantage.
