Full-Time Learning Support Assistant | Wellingborough | Temporary Position

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work full-time within a secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting students in a rewarding educational environment.

\n

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, providing both classroom and pastoral support to ensure they can achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • \n

    Provide in-class support to students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

    • \n
  • \n

    Assist pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND requirements

    • \n
  • \n

    Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

    • \n
  • \n

    Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and attendance

    • \n
  • \n

    Help students build confidence, independence, and resilience

    • \n
  • \n

    Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support student progress

    • \n

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    Experience working with children or young people in a school, care, youth work, coaching, or support setting

    • \n
  • \n

    A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • \n
  • \n

    A genuine passion for supporting young people

  • \n

    The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
