Salary: Up to £50,000 | Full-time | Honingham | Hybrid working (1 day per week working from home)

I'm pleased to be supporting a well-established and purpose-driven organisation with the appointment of a Finance & Risk Manager. This is a broad and hands-on role combining finance, credit risk, debt recovery and business partnering, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in the wider business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you'll have responsibility for both the day-to-day financial operation and the development of effective credit and risk processes. You'll also lead and develop a small team, providing support, challenge and direction across the finance function.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading credit risk assessments and member/customer due diligence

• Monitoring financial exposure and supporting the development of credit risk strategy
\n
• Managing debt recovery and credit control activities
\n
• Overseeing the sales ledger function
\n
• Developing financial, credit and risk reporting
\n
• Producing cash flow forecasts and analysing trading performance
\n
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
\n
• Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
\n
• Providing commercial financial insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders
\n
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting
\n
• Leading, coaching and developing members of the finance team
\n

About You

We're looking for someone with strong experience across credit risk, credit control and debt recovery, combined with a solid understanding of financial reporting and commercial analysis.

You'll be a confident communicator who can build relationships across different areas of the business and isn't afraid to challenge when required. Previous people management experience is important, as is the ability to work across both operational and strategic areas of finance.

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite would be advantageous.
