The Role
\nOn behalf of our client, we are seeking an Experienced Conveyancer to join a supportive and established property team. In this role you will manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
\nThis is a strong opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and delivering an excellent service.
\nResponsibilities will include:
\nManage a full caseload of residential and commercial sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold and freehold transactions from instruction through to exchange and completion.
\nDraft and review contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements and other legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
\nCheck title documents, leases and searches, and prepare detailed title reports for clients.
\nMaintain accurate case records, submit SDLT forms and complete Land Registry applications.
\nEnsure all matters adhere to AML requirements, CQS standards, Solicitors Accounts Rules and internal compliance procedures.
\nCommunicate regularly with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, surveyors and solicitors to progress transactions smoothly.
\nBuild and maintain relationships with referrers and agents, supporting business development and cross-selling opportunities.
\nSupervise and provide guidance to administrative staff and paralegals where required.
\nThe Person
\nThe ideal candidate is an organised, commercially aware and client-focused property professional who can independently manage a busy conveyancing caseload.
\nQualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with experience managing conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
\nExperience of residential and commercial property transactions, including leasehold and freehold matters.
\nFamiliarity with the Land Registry portal and online search platforms.
\nProficiency with case management software such as LEAP is desirable.
\nThe Hours
\nFull-time, office-based role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
\nThe Salary
\n£30,000£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
