Morson Edge are working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to join their Civil Engineering division.Role - Site ManagerLocations - Hampshire, Sussex and Kent (Multiple sites so will need to drive/be willing to travel).Salary - £55k to £65k + PackageExperience needed - Ideal candidates would have worked within Civil Engineering and/or Water.The RoleThe main purpose of the Site Agent/Site Manager will be responsible for the management of the construction site to achieve the required project delivery to the customers' objectives while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control. You will be responsible for the delivery of various projects to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance.The successful candidate will work closely with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager, engineers, and quantity surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.EssentialExperience of working within Civil Engineering and as a Site Manager/Site Agent for a contractor, delivering projects in a highly regulated environmentWorking knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control, including forecasting, actual cost, and value reportingGood knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineeringDegree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalentCSCS MandatoryIOSH Managing Safely or SMSTSTemporary Works CoordinatorConfined space trainingExcellent communication, people, and team management skillsAbility to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusionDesirableCEng MICE, or equivalentKnowledge of Primavera P6 softwareUnderstanding of JCT and NEC forms of contractTo be considered for this role please send updated CVs toTPBN1_UKTJ
