Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting for a Works Delivery & Commercial Estimator to join a growing facilities management business based in Greater Manchester. This is a key role supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works across a multi-trade environment. You will combine estimating, procurement, supplier management and stock control, ensuring engineers have the materials they need while keeping costs competitive and quotations accurate.Key Responsibilities\n

• Prepare accurate internal quotations, estimates and costings for maintenance and FM works.
\n
• Source materials and services from approved suppliers, securing competitive pricing and lead times.
\n
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and monitor pricing, availability and product information.
\n
• Coordinate material requirements for planned and reactive works.
\n
• Track orders, deliveries and returns to minimise delays and unnecessary costs.
\n
• Manage internal stores and monitor stock levels, usage and replenishment.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of supplier pricing, orders, quotations and stock.
\n
• Support cost reporting and provide accurate commercial information to internal teams.
\n
• Ensure procurement activity follows agreed processes and commercial requirements.
\n
• Maintain clear audit trails and contribute to improving procurement and works delivery processes.
\n
• Work closely with engineers, suppliers, finance and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery of works.
\n

About You\n

\n
• Experience within facilities management, maintenance, engineering or a similar environment.
\n
• Previous experience producing estimates, quotations or costings for maintenance or works.
\n
• Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
\n
• Knowledge of a multi-trade environment, such as M&E, electrical, plumbing or building/fabric maintenance.
\n
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.
\n
• Confident communicating with suppliers, engineers and internal stakeholders.
\n
• Comfortable using procurement, job management or CAFM systems.
\n

Desirable\n

\n
• Experience with stock control or internal stores management.
\n
• Knowledge of commercial FM contracts and pricing structures.
\n
• Experience working alongside in-house engineering teams.
\n
• Electrical knowledge or experience would be advantageous.
\n
