Long-term Temporary Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Caretaker to join their team, working on blocks of flats in and around Middleton.

Caretaker Role Overview:

\n
• Work in teams of two to maintain cleanliness and safety across multiple housing blocks.
\n
• Carry out minor maintenance and cleaning duties.
\n
• Drive the company vehicle – a full UK driving licence is required.
\n

Caretaker Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Housekeeping:

\n
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum stairs, landings, and communal areas.
\n
• Wipe down handrails, banisters, and surfaces.
\n
• Empty bins and replace liners.
\n
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and vents.
\n
• Spot clean walls and remove scuff marks.
\n

Maintenance & Upkeep:

\n
• Check and report maintenance issues (e.g., broken lights, loose handrails).
\n
• Replace bulbs and carry out minor fixes.
\n
• Deep clean stair treads, skirting boards, and high-touch points.
\n
• Remove clutter, bag and dispose of rubbish, and manage bulky waste.
\n

Outdoor Cleaning & General Duties:

\n
• Maintain the cleanliness of shared outdoor spaces.
\n
• Litter picking, jet washing, and general upkeep.
\n
• Carry out other ad hoc duties as required.
\n
