SEND Tutor - Stockton-on-Tees\nSpencer Clarke Tutors are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to support learners in Stockton-on-Tees on a part-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised 1:1 educational support to learners who may be unable to access mainstream education or require additional support with their learning.
The Role\nAs a SEND Tutor, you will provide tailored tuition either in the learner's home or in a suitable public/community setting, depending on the learner's needs. You will:

- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition. \n
- Adapt lessons to meet individual SEND needs. \n
- Support learners to re-engage with education and build confidence. \n
- Help learners develop academically, socially and emotionally. \n
- Build positive and trusting relationships with learners and their families. \n
- Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback. \n
- Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment. \n
We are looking for a tutor who:

- Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND. \n
- Has a teaching, tutoring or relevant educational background. \n
- Can adapt their teaching style to individual learning needs. \n
- Is patient, nurturing, reliable and resilient. \n
- Has excellent communication skills. \n
- Is passionate about helping learners reach their potential. \n
Experience supporting learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, anxiety, behavioural needs or other additional educational needs would be beneficial.
