\nReed Education are delighted to be recruiting for a Humanities Teacher on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Northampton, starting in September 2026.
\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and well-resourced school with a strong leadership team, excellent behaviour standards, and a commitment to both student achievement and staff development. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
\nApplications are welcomed from candidates with experience teaching subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Education, or broader Humanities disciplines.
\nThe Role

- Deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4. \n
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that support student progress and attainment. \n
- Assess, monitor, and report on student achievement. \n
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. \n
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of varying abilities. \n
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. \n
The Ideal Candidate
\n- \n
- Previous experience teaching Humanities within UK secondary schools is essential. \n
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. \n
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities. \n
- Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love of learning. \n
- Ability to engage learners and bring Humanities subjects to life. \n
- QTS is advantageous but not essential. \n
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. \n
