Production Manager – Cardiff – Up to £55k DOE plus excellent benefits Location: Cardiff Salary: Up to £55k DOE plus excellent benefits Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are recruiting an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established manufacturing organisation in Cardiff. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading Production, Stores and Planning, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage day-to-day Production, Stores and Planning operations. * Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer demand. * Drive operational efficiency, productivity and continuous improvement. * Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy, goods-in, picking and dispatch. * Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Purchasing and Quality teams. * Analyse operational data and implement corrective actions. * Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing production team. * Ensure compliance with quality systems, including ISO 13485. * Maintain effective use of ERP/MRP systems across production and inventory. The successful candidate: * Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager. * Experience within medical devices, electronics or another regulated manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and quality systems. * Good understanding of MRP/ERP systems, including BOMs, routings, works orders and inventory. * Strong leadership and people-management skills. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities. * A results-driven approach with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement. * Qualified in an Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline.
