KS2 Teaching Assistant

Your new companyHays education has been approached by a school in the Wigan area who are looking to secure a KS2 Teaching Assistant to start straight away in September. This is a vibrant and successful school community, with a superb team of passionate staff. This is a Hays partnership school, so you won't find this role anywhere else. The role will be working within KS2 and involves working with SEN children, so SEN experience is essential. Your new roleIn this job role, you will be responsible for helping in both group and 1:1 settings for pupils in KS2 and this could be helping across English, Maths, Reading and Writing. Depending on the needs of the school and classes, you may be asked to move around KS2, so you will need to be flexible and approachable. It is important for you to work closely with the other teachers and TA's to ensure pupils are progressing, and that work is in line with pupil ability. You will become an integral part of the school, joining a team of TA's who are very experienced and that you will be able to learn from. What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. As the schools are recruiting immediately, it would be ideal if you could jump straight into the role. However, do not let this put you off applying as we are always receiving new roles.
