Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours a week)

Your Role\n

This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a real impact! As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management. You’ll be working on-site or in the office for 3+ days a week, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality projects for our key strategic clients.

What Will You Be Responsible For?\n

In this exciting role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
\n
• Tendering, evaluating, and appointing subcontractors, along with placing orders for materials and plant.
\n
• Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
\n
• Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
\n
• Producing monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, while managing cash flows.
\n

What Are We Looking For?\n

This role is perfect for you if:

• You possess excellent communication skills and have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
\n
• You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
\n
• You have strong organizational skills and can prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
\n
• You are flexible, able to work as part of a team, and can also take the initiative.
\n
• You are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
\n
