BuildingSurveyorHerefordshireCouncilareseekinganexperiencedandsuitablyqualifiedbuildingsurveyortojoinitsPropertyServicesteam.Ifyouhaveapassionforbuildingsthisistheroleforyou!Readthefulladverttounderstandhowyoucouldplayakeyrole.BuildingSurveyorTheBuildingSurveyorrolewillincludeworkingwithourpartnerorganisationonadailybasistoensurethecomplianceandsafetyofourbuildingsalongwithworkingwithourPMOteamtodelivercapitalprojects.GiventherangeofthecouncilsportfoliotheapplicantisexpectedtohaveknowledgearoundissuesassociatedwithGrade1,Grade2,ScheduledAncientMonuments,CommercialandIndustrialsites.BuildingSurveyorYouwillworkwithotherteamsacrossthecounciltohelpensureacompliantportfolioestateisinplace.BuildingSurveyorAsaBuildingSurveyoryouwillhave:-QualifiedRICSCharteredSurveyor-Demonstrableexperienceworkingwithinapropertyenvironment.-Strongknowledgeofcurrentlegislation,regulatoryissues,conservation&planningpolicy-Theabilitytoworkunderyourowninitiativeaswellaswithinateam,oftentotightdeadlinesandonmultipleworkstreams.-ExperienceinactingasContractAdministratorandactingasPrincipalDesignerforvariedprojectwork.-Desirablebutnotessential,toactasNominatedPersonforAsbestosandFireManagementTPBN1_UKTJ
