Senior Healthcare Assistant | Norwich and Wider Areas | Flexible Shifts | £17£23 per hourAdvantage Angels is looking for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our agency care team, working across care homes in Norwich and the surrounding area. This is a role for someone who leads by example someone residents trust and junior staff look to for guidance delivering compassionate, person-centred care while helping keep the home running smoothly on shift.Pay ranges from £17£23 per hour depending on shift pattern, with enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays.What you'll be doingDelivering personalised care in line with individual care plans, protecting residents' dignity and independence at every stepLeading and supporting junior care staff on shift, setting the tone for a positive, well-run teamAssisting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, medication support, and mealsKeeping accurate, up-to-date records care plan updates, incident reports, handover notesActing as a key point of contact between residents, families, and the wider care teamSupporting residents' emotional wellbeing through genuine companionship and meaningful activitiesUpholding health and safety standards, including infection controlSharing your expertise to help train and develop the wider care teamWhat we're looking forExperience working in a care home setting, specifically in senior/supervisory careProven leadership experience within a healthcare environmentConfidence building and applying individual care plansStrong communication skills with residents, families, and colleaguesComfortable using IT systems for documentation and reportingA full driving licence is desirable but not essentialLocations we coverBased in Norwich, with placements across the wider Norfolk area including:NorwichGreat YarmouthPostwickCringlefordWroxhamDerehamDissTPBN1_UKTJ
