Interim Senior Group Finance Manager

Job Description

HW Finance are partnering with a global business to recruit a Senior Group Finance Manager. This is an important role within the Group Finance function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in shaping the financial reporting, planning and control environment across an international business.

Reporting to the Head of Group Finance, you will take ownership of the Group's consolidated financial reporting, statutory reporting under IFRS, budgeting and forecasting processes, whilst supporting a significant finance systems transformation programme. This role would suit a qualified accountant with previous Group Finance experience gained within a complex, multi-entity environment.

Joining the business on a 15-month fixed-term contract, you will receive a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 DOE, plus a 10% retention bonus and an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and delivery of monthly consolidated Group financial results, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
  • \n
  • Production and oversight of monthly management information and Board reporting packs, providing insightful commentary and analysis.
  • \n
  • Support the implementation of a new Group consolidation and reporting tool, including rollout across the wider finance function and enhancement of reporting processes.
  • \n
  • Responsibility for the financial reporting and accounting requirements of Group holding companies, including balance sheet reviews and statutory reporting.
  • \n
  • Support the preparation of Group statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
  • \n
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including planning timetables, consolidating submissions and producing management reporting and analysis.
  • \n
  • Assist with the external audit process and act as a key point of contact for auditors.
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes, controls and systems.
  • \n
  • Manage and develop two members of the Finance team.
  • \n
  • Support the wider business with accounting, reporting and ad hoc project requirements.

About You

\n
    \n
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • \n
  • Previous experience within a Group Finance, Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting role.
  • \n
  • Experience of Group consolidations within a multi-entity and ideally international environment.
  • \n
\n
