AV Installation Engineer
Job Description
We are recruiting for an Audio-Visual Installation Engineer for a growing Wokingham based company.
\nBased out of Wokingham, Berkshire the ideal candidate will have an adaptable, flexible can-do attitude, outstanding client facing skills and the willingness to travel.
\nTraining can be provided for the right person as long as you are happy with a power tool, hanging 65" screens etc!
\nThe salary for this role is £26,500 working 37.5 hours a week but there is plenty of overtime available to earn more money.
\nMust have a driving license as this role is 50/50 warehouse and site based. Travel is in a company vehicle and is mainly around the local/London area.
\nMain responsibilities for the AV Installation Engineer are:

- Support the sales in providing working solutions and ensuring that equipment is complete and functional. \n
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and requirements. \n
- Provide onsite support of equipment during customer events. \n
- Support all other internal engineering departments. \n
- Preparation and installation of a wide range of AV solutions. The scope of work can range from single items of equipment to large scale event rollouts. \n
Skills required for the AV Installation Engineer are:

- Experience as an AV Installation Engineer preferred but not essential \n
- Be capable of wall mounting Large Format screens which means being confident and competent in the use of handheld power tools. \n
- Be able to install free standing screens and video walls \n
- Have capability to install and support small PA systems \n
- Understand and be able to put together a video conferencing setup of screens and cameras. \n
- Have adequate IT skills to be able to install, run and control video content. \n
- Be an outstanding team player, working well with others; someone who is not insular to his trade but willing to learn and help others learn a constantly changing variation of equipment. \n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels, both written and verbally. \n
- Ability and willingness to travel \n
- Have a flexible, adaptable approach in terms of working hours. \n
- A full clean driving licence \n
